Animals Who Are Silenced, Speak Up and Stand For Them.
Our advocacy focuses on the well-being of all stray cats and dogs. We want to raise awareness about the way these animals are mistreated and oppressed. Through this advocacy, we hope to foster a safe environment for dogs and cats who are unable to advocate for themselves. We, The Pawsters, are here to enlighten all of you as supporters of animal rights. We devised a concept for this "Call to Action" poster that emphasizes the importance of fostering a society in which people and animals can coexist without oppression. Neglecting pets and abusing animals are both criminal offenses. Citizens who are concerned cannot turn a blind eye to this, as defenseless animals are unable to protect themselves. To prevent animal cruelty and bring offenders to justice, we need your support in every way possible.
PURPOSE — Their ray of survival
We believe that animal cruelty is one of the social issues that is frequently overlooked in our community. We tend to ignore and be ignorant with regards to animals that have been subjected to brutality, oppression, and even aggression. It is time for us to wake up to this cruel reality that animals severely go through. As individuals, it is our responsibility to be their voices; we’re much more intellectual than them, therefore we need to use all means to protect them.
We understand that animals serve a wide range of functions in society, from cherished family pets that provide comfort and love to law enforcement dogs that locate missing people in the community to service animals that provide invaluable assistance. Animals play a role in almost everyone's life in some way. Animals are unfortunately among the most vulnerable members of society because they lack the ability to speak up for themselves and seek their rights. Because of their vulnerability, they are at a high risk of engaging in purposeful, destructive behavior such as neglect or violence, which is considered animal cruelty. It has taken some time for animal cruelty to be recognized as a violent crime. Until when we will be blinded by hatred towards animals?
Respecting animals sets a great example for others. Teach children to be gentle and loving to animals. Encourage them to represent animals' interests in the future as they mature; tell them that when they grow up, they must create a healthy community for animals, and make them aware that there are tons of animals in need of assistance.
What are the ways to stop & prevent ANIMAL CRUELTY?
Recognize and fulfill your pet's prerequisites. Don't just focus on meeting your pet's basic needs; also consider its well-being by providing positive experiences—give them the affection and love they deserve.

Help people understand that they have the power to step in when animals are being mistreated or even tortured. Animals have a right to a pain-free existence, and it is our responsibility to intervene if those rights are violated.

An animal that has been mistreated requires assistance, sometimes immediately. By rescuing an animal from a dangerous situation, you can actually make a difference.

If you see an animal being mistreated or persecuted, the most important thing you can do is speak up and take action. We have a social and moral obligation to protect them. We must be their voices, expressing their desire for all rights, including the right to live and be at peace, because we are intellectual beings capable of defending ourselves and thinking rationally in any situation.

An animal is not merely an animal, they're something purer than that word – a friend. I frequently ponder the reality, "Why is it so difficult for others to be good to them? Does that degrade who they are as people? ”. Animals experience pain and suffering in a similar way to humans, but the difference is, they’re powerless. A power that we humans hold, and that’s more than enough reason to protect them. They are always on our side, provide emotional support in a variety of circumstances, listen without passing judgment, and are constantly present when you're feeling lonely. Yes, they may occasionally pee on the floor to express their sadness at missing you. However, they don't have ulterior objectives. They won't ever forsake you to go to their friend's party instead of spending time with you. You are everything to them, and they are passionately, unwaveringly faithful. Things that people can’t do, so why can’t see the purity they have? Is it because of their superiority complex was ahead of them or has ignorance rendered them blind?
Joshua is a student who regards animals as family. The hymn of the animals has captured the warm-hearted young man's heart, which makes him distinctive. He has seen how humans treat animals cruelly, and he wants to aid those animals that need it. He wants to increase awareness that people should treat others with the same respect and affection as if they were their own through utilizing this website and platform. As he grows older, he realizes that subjugated animals are unable to communicate the emotions they are feeling. Joshua was aware that he needed to speak for those animals. Joshua also seeks to connect with others— people who have the same goals as him of protecting and preventing from further cruelty to animals. He can’t withstand the mourning of dogs and cats in the street asking for help. Joshua is an advocate for a cruel-safe environment for animals.

Elisha Punzalan is a senior high school student from CCSIS. She is often described as kind, genuine, and fun to be with by her friends. Her interests include reading, listening to music, taking photographs, and binge-watching television shows. She enjoys spending her weekends biking around their village, taking in the wonderful and calming scenery. She also enjoys nature and watching the skies, especially at sunset. Another little fact about her is that she adores animals; however, she's actually scared of dogs. She is, however, willing to care for one if given the chance. She is also an advocate for animal rights, and she stands for what they deserve in life.

"Be a voice for the voiceless" is a phrase I frequently encounter when searching through the depths of animal cruelty. However, don't animals already have voices themselves? Aren't we all being insensitive by failing to recognize their anguish as they cry and bleed, desperate for our attention as they seek bliss? Just as humans communicate with one another through body language, other animals communicate in many other ways beyond verbal words. Moreover, by saying that they are "voiceless," aren’t we just solely ignoring the fact that they could "speak," it’s just that they aren’t capable of forming words just as we do? Let us not claim to be the voices of the voiceless, but instead let us focus on amplifying the voices of the silenced.

The intentional or unintentional harming of an animal is known as animal abuse, also referred to as animal cruelty. Animal abuse can include the physical abuse such beating, shooting, injuring, or causing damage to them, as well as failing to meet their bare minimum requirements for food, water, shelter, or medical attention. I must say that animals do not deserve it! They do not deserve to be mistreated. However, because of other humans who do not care about animals, they are being violent to them. Animal cruelty and abuse are both illegal. Yes, they don't have a voice like us, but they do have feelings. They, like us, require love rather than pain. Come help us in preventing this type of cruelty! Human cruelty to animals must be stopped. We must all work together to put an end to the growing problem of animal cruelty. Keep animals safe from harm. Create a more favorable environment for them. Keep them away from the abuse and suffering.

Althea Mae M. Badosa is a stem student from CCSIS. She is an introvert who prefers reading fiction books on her own than interacting with others.
She also enjoys eating, singing, drawing, watching k-drama, supporting on the members of EXO and Seventeen, and collecting fiction books. She
disagrees with those who treat animals cruelly, despite the fact that she doesn't have a pet. For this reason, she decides to become an animal rights
activist with the aim of improving the conditions in which animals are raised.
